Privacy

CobbleBucket requires no CobbleBucket or TinkerCobble account or login.

Application data

• The public APK does not request Android Internet permission and contains no analytics or advertising SDK.
• Thoughts, durable drafts, Additions, organization, archive state, history, and attachment references are stored on the device.
• Android backup and device-transfer services may include the application database and draft preferences according to the device's backup settings and platform behavior.
• Attachments are selected through Android's system document picker. CobbleBucket stores a durable content reference and metadata; it does not copy every selected provider file into an application-owned portable backup.
• JSON and text exports are created only at a destination selected through Android's system file interface.

Control and recoverability

Personal content remains controlled through the device and the available export functions. Removing application data or uninstalling the application can remove local records that were not backed up or exported.
